WishTap is designed to be privacy-first.
What stays on your device
Your contacts data stays on your device.
Your message contents stay on your device.
WishTap does not send your contacts, birthdays, anniversaries, contact details, message bodies, or Autofill values to WishTap or to anyone else.
What WishTap collects
WishTap collects a small amount of usage and diagnostics data. This may include things like:
- which features are used
- which screens and flows are completed, cancelled, or fail
- app version, device type, and general diagnostics
- notification and app-performance related events
This data is used to help us:
- understand which parts of WishTap are most useful
- decide what to improve next
- debug problems and improve reliability
This data is tied to a random app install identifier, not your name, phone number, email, or any other personal information.
Bug reports
If WishTap offers a bug-report or diagnostics-sharing feature, using it is optional.
Any diagnostics you choose to send are reviewed before sending and are designed not to include your contacts data, message contents, or Autofill values.
Permissions
WishTap asks for permissions such as Contacts and Notifications only so the app can provide its core features.
Contacts access is used to read and organize the contact information needed for WishTap to work on your device.
Notification permission is used to send you reminders you choose to receive.
Data sharing
WishTap does not sell your personal data.
WishTap does not share your contacts data or message contents with advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties.
WishTap may use service providers to help process pseudonymous analytics and diagnostics on our behalf.

If this policy changes in a material way, the updated version will be posted here.
